Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy is for Washington residents and anyone whose consumer health data is collected in Washington, as required by Washington's My Health My Data Act. It covers Sokoon, operated by HIPUR IO LLC. Our general Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Consumer health data we collect
Sokoon is a relationship self-understanding service, not a health care provider. Some of what you share, or what we derive from it, may still count as consumer health data:
- What you tell us about your emotions, emotional wellbeing, stress and how you cope, in your answers, guided conversations, Deep Dives and "Talk to me."
- What you share about intimacy and relationships where it reveals physical or mental health.
- Insights, patterns and reports our AI generates from what you share, where they describe your emotional or mental wellbeing.
- Answers that people you invite to your circle give about you, where they touch these topics.
- Technical, activity and transaction information associated with using Sokoon, including visits, assessment starts/completions and membership purchases, where that information reveals health-related activity or supports an inference about health. Our Privacy Policy describes the limited optional advertising signals and their recipients.
How we use it
We use your answers, messages, circle feedback and generated insights to provide the Service you asked for: generating your conversations, insights and reports, keeping your history so you can return to it, and keeping the Service secure. We do not send that content through our advertising measurement flow. Optional advertising measurement uses the limited technical, activity and transaction signals described in our Privacy Policy. Those signals can convey information about using Sokoon even though they exclude your answers, conversations and reports.
Where it comes from
From you, from the people you invite to share their perspective, from our AI’s analysis of what you and they share, and from technical, activity and transaction records generated when you use Sokoon.
Who receives it
We disclose the information needed to provide Sokoon to the following providers under the applicable agreements:
- Supabase: account, authentication, database and application services.
- Anthropic: messages and relevant context needed to generate conversations, insights and reports, under business terms that prohibit using customer content to train its models.
- Email delivery: only where an email you ask for contains it (for example, your results).
Provider processing may also include applicable security, misuse-prevention and legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains provider retention. With optional advertising permission, our advertising and measurement partners receive the limited technical, activity and purchase signals described there. Excluding answer content does not guarantee that no health-related inference can be made from those signals. You can stop future measurement using “Opt out of ad measurement” or Global Privacy Control without changing your price or access.
We may disclose information if the law requires it. You can ask us for the list of third parties and affiliates that have received your consumer health data and how to contact them by emailing support@sokoon.life.
Your consent
We ask for your explicit consent to service processing after you sign in and before you submit your assessment answers or messages. The setup notice also describes optional advertising measurement, which you can decline using the existing opt-out control or Global Privacy Control while continuing to use Sokoon. Your Privacy Policy agreement does not waive your rights under applicable law. You can withdraw consent in Membership at any time: processing stops immediately and your relationship data is permanently deleted 30 days later unless you confirm consent again before then.
Your rights
- Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it.
- Get a list of all third parties and affiliates that received it, with their contact information.
- Withdraw your consent.
- Have it deleted, including by our service providers.
We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
How to use your rights
Email support@sokoon.life from the address on your account (or tell us how to verify you), or use Membership to withdraw consent and request deletion. We'll respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we'll tell you why, and extend by up to 45 more days only where the law allows.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@sokoon.life with "Appeal" in the subject. We'll respond in writing within 45 days, explaining what we did and why. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
